Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

Some vaccinations including Yellow Fever, Japanese encephalitis and rabies are not available on the NHS and there will be a charge for these vaccinations.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

europe and russia Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia and Pacific Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 8 weeks before you travel. Please be aware that most vaccines take at least 10 days to be effective and if you need to take malaria medication it has to be taken one week prior to travel.

Travel Health Questionnaire

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please complete a travel form as below and bring it with you to the surgery.

Please allow us at least 4 working days to do an assessment before contacting us to book your appointment.
