We are pleased to announce that Russ Feldhus-O’Connell has joined us as our new Health and Wellbeing Coach.

Russ spent many years in the Australian Public Service focussing on improving health, safety, rehabilitation and wellbeing outcomes. 

Prior to joining Kingston PCN, Russ was one of two Health & Wellbeing coaches with Havering North PCN, before which he spent 18 months as a Health Educator with the National Diabetes Prevention Programme.

A Health and Wellbeing Coach assesses patient lifestyles, addresses health concerns and then works with the patients to make behavioural, nutritional and other changes in order to promote better health and wellness.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, improve health, increase energy, develop better nutrition or deal with stress and anxiety, a Health and Wellbeing Coach takes the time to listen to your concerns, helps you discover where and why you are struggling, and supports you as you navigate the world of contradictory nutritional advice to figure out exactly what works for YOUR body.

Our Health and Wellbeing Coach will assess your current health condition and will:

  • Work with you to develop goals to improve your health

  • Work with you to develop goals to improve your wellbeing

  • Provide you with counselling (if necessary/required)

  • Document your progress

  • Co-produce a treatment plan with you.
